Recycling Facility- Pre-sort Lines – Segregation of waste materials
Techmarobea Products Africa Limited is a Ghana Government (1D1F) initiative in partnership with a number of suppliers, investors and technology providers with creative innovation to use a revolutionary green technology that converts MSW into a number of separate waste streams including, Diesel Fuel, Boi-Gas, Compost Fertiliser, Co2, Distilled Water across Ghana and other African Countries
Pre-Sort Technology
- Pre shredder to shred Municipal Solid Waste & Construction and Industrial waste to 300mm size.
- Conveyed to Trommel to extract fines (Inert material) 50-30mm size.
- Fines conveyed to over-band magnet/eddy current for ferrous & non-ferrous recovery, fines then go into Flip/Flow for fines clean up.
- Over size materials are conveyed to Ballistic separators for 2-Dimensional
- sorting & 3- Dimensional sorting.
- It is then conveyed through a number of magnets/eddy currents for the recovery of non- ferrous and ferrous metals.
- 2-Dimensional and 3-Dimensional lines conveyed through a total of 8 NIR’S (Near Infrared) for recovery of recyclables (this can be configured to any material that we would like to recover).
- After NIR’s Quality Control is used to remove any small contamination.
- Post/Secondary shredder to shred residual biomass to 50-30mm size.
Food to Compost (NPK Fertiliser)
Food waste will be treated using a continuous, flow- through, in-vessel systems. It incorporates a horizontal composting chamber that has a shaft running longitudinally through it. This shaft has tines, or arms, attached and rotates periodically and slowly. The shaft redistributes moisture and heat and aids aeration ensuring the composting process is very efficient. The period to processed food waste into suitable compost (soil conditioner) will vary from 72 hours to 14 DAYS.
