KOFORIDUA -KUKURANTUMI  PROJECT

 
Koforidua – Kukurantumi Techmarobea Products Africa Limited (1D1F) Government of Ghana Initiative Waste to Energy Project will  convert  waste products into Diesel Fuel, Bio-Gas and Compost Fertiliser  using tried and  tested technology. The project will solve waste disposal issues and greatly improve the environment, whilst providing a valuable service to local authorities and a profitable operation for the company.
 
This project is one of the first three out of 10 being funded by Kyla BV, GIEK and Nudfund in partnership with Cambi to finance the planning and construction of the project. A suitable site has been secured in Kukurantumi Municipal assembly for the development; building construction of waste-to-energy plant will be required, commissioned and tested, prior to operations commencing. The duration from site acquisition to commencement of operations will be twelve months.
 
Opportunity: Waste disposal is an immense Traditional land-fill methods cause severe adverse effects to the environment and the local population, as well as being a financial burden on local authorities.
Mission: The Company aims to provide an inventive solution to waste disposal problems, resulting in job creation, an improvement to the environment, a valuable service to the local authorities.
Solution: Innovative technology will be used to convert waste products into diesel fuel which will be sold. Revenue will be generated from fuel sales and waste disposal charges.
Market Focus: The market of the project is the Kororidua -Kukurantumi metro  in the Republic of Ghana.
 
 
Memorandums of Understanding is agreed with the Ghanaian Government and Chase Petroleum Ghana Limited
 
Expected Returns: Financial projections show that the project is viable and profitable. Profits of US$7m are forecast for year 1, increasing to US$10m in year 3. Detailed financial projections are included in our business plan.

Mission Statement: The guiding principles of the company are to provide waste disposal solutions using modern technology which will convert waste to energy and improve the environment, create employment and offer an energy production method as a viable alternative to traditional methods.
Markets and Products: The Koforidua -Kukurantumi -Akyem Tafo metro of Ghana provides an ideal market for that.  It has been identified as having a fast-developing economy, governed by a forward-thinking authority who appreciate that a modern solution to waste disposal is vital to enhance its progressive approach. Similarly, Chase Petroleum Ghana Limited are appreciative of the environmentally-friendly diesel production method that the company will provide and have expressed a firm interest in purchasing products.
Management Team: The company’s management team is set-out in appendix 3 to this business plan and includes personnel who are highly experienced in the waste recycling
Locations and Facilities: The company has already negotiated a site for the project from the local authority in Kukurantumi on which buildings will be constructed to house waste recycling facilities, waste-to-energy plant and storage
